Alessandra Sollberger

Blockchain expert and Entrepreneur


Alessandra is a multi-lingual, multi-talented entrepreneur and investor. Born in Switzerland, educated in Oxford and Harvard she boasts 6 languages among her top skills.


She first dipped her toes in the business waters at the tender age of 11 and has been at the forefront of developments in the blockchain and biotech industries ever since graduating from the University of Oxford in 2012.

She spent the first years of her career in product development at numerous early-stage startups before making a move to the corporate world, working in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, private equity at Blackstone and venture capital at Mosiac Ventures.


In 2016 Alessandra founded her own company, Evermore Health, a functional nutrition brand based around the intersection of science and nature that leverages personalization and transparency of the supply chain.

In addition, she is a regular mentor at Seedcamp, an active member of the Oxford advisory board and an advocate in the non-profit sector, where she created an organization that teaches IT and programming skills to children in disadvantaged areas.

Adam de Sola Pool

Owner and CEO of Environmental Investment Partners


Based in Cambridge Mass USA and an active mentor at MIT and Northeastern University including MIT Venturing Service and MIT Enterprise Forum

Judge of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Techstars, Northeastern University, CleanTech Open, and MassChallenge.


Owner and CEO of Environmental Investment Partners, Central Europe’s first cleantech and renewable energy venture capital firm

As an Angel Investor, Adam is a Partner in the Clean Energy Venture Group, a member of Launchpad Ventures and MIT Medical Angels

Board member and advisor to Drop-Wise (a Nano coatings company), QSM (a Nano healthcare diagnostics company), and OffGridBox (a PV based potable water supply company serving Africa)

Top projects include what was once Europe’s largest wind farm (Continental Wind Partners LLC), Hungary’s first post-communist private wastewater treatment company (Organica Technologies) and Romania’s first private gas to the home company (GazVest RO)

Philip New

Commissioner on the Global Energy Transition Commission

Philip is the Chief Executive Officer of the Energy Systems Catapult. The Energy Systems Catapult was established in April 2015 with the remit to support the transition of the UK Energy System and enable economic growth from the many commercial and technological opportunities that will be created as the way we make, distribute and use energy undergoes
radical change over the coming decades. The scope includes the
interaction of energy with adjacent sectors, including water and transport.
He is a Commissioner on the global Energy Transition Commission and a member of the Global Futures Council of the World Economic Forum.
Philip is also a Fellow of the Energy Institute and sits on various Advisory Panels.
Before joining the Catapult Philip worked for BP for over 30 years in a range of commercial and general management positions, mostly in customer-facing businesses, operating in Asia, North and South America and Europe.
Philip has an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University, and lives in Oxford, UK with his wife. His three children are now at University.
